How billing works

  • Beds are counted as set up in your account, not by whether they are occupied.
  • Fixed monthly plans are billed monthly in advance. Per-bed plans are billed at the end of each month for the beds you had, prorated by day.
  • Switching to another fixed monthly plan takes effect once the new plan is paid. A per-bed plan starts as soon as you select it.
  • Subscriptions are billed in INR through Razorpay. Resident rent is never collected through PGLive.
  • If a payment fails you get a short grace period before the account is paused. Your data is kept.

Who is PGLive for?

Owners and managers of PGs, hostels and similar paying-guest properties in India, from a single building to many properties.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. New accounts get a free trial with no card needed. The trial length is shown on the pricing page.

Do residents pay rent through PGLive?

No. Residents pay you by UPI, cash or bank transfer and you record it in PGLive. Razorpay is used only for your PGLive subscription.

How are beds counted for my plan?

Every bed you set up in your account counts, whether or not it is occupied.

Is there a mobile app?

An Android app is in review and launching soon. The web app works on any phone browser today. An iPhone app is not available yet.

Which languages are supported?

English and Telugu today. Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam are planned.

Is my data safe?

Each business's data is isolated at the database level and critical changes are recorded in an audit trail.
